4 – 5 years minimum creditors clerk experience

The responsibilities of the Creditors Clerk are as follows:
Full function of creditors
Liaise with the various business units to ensure that all work is received or downloaded via GRV Interface / GRV control sheet
Ensure that no discounts will be lost
Collate all statements during the month from suppliers
Complete an accurate reconciliation of suppliers accounts
Service / support business units and suppliers with any queries
Ensure that all outstanding queries are resolved 
Ensure that all deadline dates are met

All filing of reconciliations and supporting documentation

All month-end reports as requested by Management
Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

Skills / Requirements:
Good knowledge of SYSPRO or  SAP
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Strong reconciliation skills, communication and telephone etiquette
Self-motivated and able to use initiative

Can handle high volume of pressure and be a team player

Qualification and experience

Grade 12 (with Maths and Accounting)
National Diploma – Accounting (Advantageous)
At least 5 – 10 years’ experience in a related role
Computer literate: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Delta, Isometrix
Analytically minded
Administration
Good customer relations and communication skills

 

Apply the skills of customer care in a specific work environment
Participate in internal and external audits
Gather record and interpret business related information
Capture payments to Supplier Accounts and allocate accordingly
Conduct basic financial transactions
Generate the GRV process report and verify GRVs
Coordinate Accounts Payable documentation (GRVs, PODs, and Invoices)
Match GRVs to invoices (Order, GRV, Invoices)
Request supplier invoices (daily) and statements (monthly) if outstanding
Query outstanding items or mismatches
Prepare monthly reconciliations with updated statements received from suppliers – statement to ledger
Follow up on reconciling items
Process data using information technology
Participate in formal meetings
Apply the organization’s code of conduct in a work environment
Apply the principles of corporate governance and ethics in a function
Liaise between suppliers and accounts payable for processing of supplier payments
Capture Supplier Master Data (Banking details, etc.)

Job Specification

GENERAL TASKS

 *       Monitor machine performance with specific attention to electrical issues.

 *       Investigate electrical problems.

*       Liaise with other teams in resolving electrical faults and general injection moulding problems.

*       Liaise with suppliers in resolving specific factory problems.

*       Mentor and train Electricians.

*       Form part of project team and carry out tasks as delegated by Electrical Technician.

*       Form part of production morning meeting team, communicate issues and investigate resolutions to other electrical     

         team members.

*       Ensure that critical electrical spares are stocked and accounted for to best serve production.

*       Responsible for quality and detail of services done on machines.

*       Communicate continually on progress with Production Supervisors.

*       General maintenance and housekeeping on all equipment.

*       Stripping and assembling of various equipment.

*       Carry out general fabrication work.

*       Operate lifting equipment.

*       Ensure that all company procedures regarding health and safety are followed.

*       Ensure paperwork is up to date.

MAKE YOUR CV STAND OUT AMONG 1000’S OF OTHERS

Your CV is the first impression the recruitment consultant or employer gets of you.

It is therefore imperative to make it stand out among all the other CV’s they are receiving.

Each CV needs to be tailored towards your own skills, experiences and your job application.

Put the name of the hob you are applying for in the subject line of your Email.

  1. It is very important to make sure that your spelling is correct. Come on you do have a spell check on your computer.
  2.  The layout needs to be neat and to the point.
  3. The more information you can give the better. One or two page CV’s do not do you any justice.
  4. Dates, dates, dates. Please make sure you have dates for each job and qualification.
  5. Don’t use fancy fonts. They can be difficult to read and can result in your CV being put aside. A good font to use is either Arial or Calibri in an 11 or 12 point size.
  6. CV’s MUST be in MS word format. PDF, faxes and scans do not help the recruiter.
  7. The only information you can scan are your qualifications, references and payslip. Make sure that they are clear before sending them.
  8. Personal information is also very important. Make sure the telephone numbers and email addresses are correct.
  9. Your current salary is important, as you would not like to be submitted for a job paying less than you are earning.
  10. Make sure you include at least 2 contactable referees on your CV. Make sure you have given their correct contact details and that they are willing to give a reference for you.
  11. Skills are important – Computer skills are part of the work environment. Make sure you list all programmes you have worked with.
  12. Qualifications and courses are also very important. Please list everything you have done and do not forget to put the date next to each one.
  13. Always put your last job first.
  14. Work experience is very important and should be listed under each job. This is a time when you can brag about everything you have done and learnt. There might be something so small that is required and it can be the make or break in getting you short listed.

Construction Analyst (Safety)

BS Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Occupational or Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or a safety related field, and five (5) years progressively responsible experience administering a safety program.

Must have 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety Class Certification or equivalent within the last 5 years. Apply an acceptable safety program to ensure site compliance with all FedOSHA and CalOSHA, including Electrical Safety and Lock-out/Tag-out regulations and procedures.

Knowledge of NFPA 70E and NFPA 101, Life Safety Code requirements; Knowledge in the fields of safety compliance and auditing. Knowledge of governmental regulations and applicable standards such as EPA, OSHA. NIOSH, APCD and NFPA 70E that affect employee and environmental health and safety.

Technical expertise in analyzing numerical and claims data and industry performance measures such as Loss Time Injury Rates, Frequency Rates, and OSHA 300 Recordable Rates. Effective written and oral communication skills as well as effective leadership skills. Ability to prepare, compose and present reports to all levels of management.

Asst Engineer I (Safety, Electrical)

College degree. 

8 years’ work experience OR 2 year degree in engineering technology or a closely related field plus 4 years or relevant experience in engineering support work, of which two years should have been within the areas of technical specialization.

 Fluency in English; broad knowledge of engineering terminology and relevant testing procedures & specifications.

Construction Analyst

BS Degree in Science or Engineering plus four years relevant experience in the construction field.

Data-Network Engineering Position GC 13

BS Comp Science, Engineering or other related field; Minimum 5 yrs experience in construction Oil & gas field.

Strong command in English, both oral & written. Ensures the smooth operation of the organizations data network in order to provide maximum performance and availability for the system users. Responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures at all branches. Provides high-level technical support for data network systems, creates and maintains network documentation, maintains hardware and software standards, and works projects as needed in order to upgrade to new and/or improved communication equipment and procedures.

Must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems. Very Familiar with systems of operation such as UNIX, Novell and Microsoft, etc.

BS Engineering. 9 years work exp, pref in the oil industry or similar process industry.  Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, U.S. Codes, Standards and Specifications.

Asst Engineer II,

Completion Vocational Diploma, College graduate is a plus. 

6 yrs work experience OR 2 year degree in engineering technology or a closely related field plus 2 years or relevant experience in engineering support work, of which two years should have been within the areas of technical specialization.

 Ability to read and write English, knowledge of engineering terminology.  Ability to drive a car.

Asst Engineer I (Division Secretary)

College degree or secretarial course graduate.

Minimum 10 years of experience performing general secretarial duties, with emphasis on task adaptability. 

Excellent knowledge of oral and written English. 

Typing speed 55 net wpm, 85% accuracy, can take and transcribe shorthand at 70 wpm, 90% accuracy. 

Computer literate: word processing, spread sheets, etc.
