URGENT

Minimum Requirements
• Matric
• Must demonstrate knowledge competence in the work instructions of the Gas Test Station, SANS 17020, SANS 10019, SANS 1825 and other related standards for pressure receptacles, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1993 (Act No.85 of 1993) and the Pressure Equipment Regulations thereof
• Previous Experience working experience with Breathing Air Cylinders
• Ongoing training, both internally and externally to support the scope of your accreditation
• Ability to make professional judgments, to perform the type, range and volume of the inspection bodies activities
• Driver’s License
• Ability to work outside normal working hours, if required
• Excellent Time Management Skills

Duties – including but not limited to
• Implement a business plan/midterm planning in close collaboration and agreement with all functions regarding, expenses, and gross profit for your relevant service workshop
• Organizes the relevant resources in close collaboration and agreement with all employees who are involved in the implementation in a manner consistent with the local & country strategy
• Relationship-Management with local Distributors, and customers
Visual Inspections
• Ensuring that initial checks on Workshop equipment is done and completing the Checklist
• Reporting any sub-standard, broken or mal-functioning test equipment to direct line manager, by immediately completing a non-conformance report as per the ISO procedures
• Ensure that the required number of spare parts are on hand in order to ensure efficient completion of work
• Cleaning of cylinders
Hydrostatic Tests
• To be carried out according to the standards and work instructions. Adequate safety precautions shall be taken during the test.
• Book the Unique stamp in and out daily and complete the register thereof
Refilling of Cylinders
• Fill the Cylinder Bank daily after work for the day has been done, so it’s ready for the next day’s use
• Issuing of Certificates
• Ensure that a Monthly Air Quality Analysis is done
Regulatory Affairs and Quality
• Implement the processes and actions to obtain and maintain all relevant certifications, e.g. ISO, SANAS, in close collaboration with the Service /Branch Manager and the local Quality Manager
• Ensure compliance with corporate quality and environmental policies
• Prepare, implement and monitor effective processes that provide the evidence of compliance with relevant directives, standards, technical, legal, industry or trade requirements
• Ensure the effective day to day quality management of processes within, business, regulatory, testing, customer relations, service and logistic departments
